Momma told me this Sitting in her gold vein: Son, listen to the lies if you wanna’ make some change. But It's truth in disguise. Dismantle it, tear it down, disinfect. I’m here to set the standard and burn whatever’s left. Destroy the misconceptions that exist in your head, it’s quite a simple system and it’s all for the bread. Cuz’ all across the world, every state, every town people rise after last nights drowning and shuffle off to work so they can get paid to sell each other shit someone else has made. So find a conference room and pull up a chair, and smile at the head that has the silver hair. He’s mister unknown, the first of many you’ll meet. But first, let’s find out what sort of company he leads. Hey there, I’m Mr. M, I run the business machine. You won’t make your own, so I pay you to make my dream! This world has two types, the alphas and the betas. Some operate the program and others run the data. Let me show you the ropes here at middle class inc., where we’ll let you chew the bone, but keep all of the meat. We have a few rules, first off: don’t try to leave. you’ll have to stay the course if you wanna’ succeed. Number 2, please for the love of god, consume. you need some new speakers so that bass can really go boom. Third, please don’t be disruptive or rude. There’s no system to fight cuz’ there’s no power abused. It’s all a campaign it’s all a campaign If it looks and tastes the same, then it's all a campaign. Just get good grades and work hard in school. You’ll find a good college and I’m sure you’ll be cool. Then you’ll get a good job and buy a house with a pool. And you’ll have kid who’ll be just as smart as you! and you’ll live in a house on a street in the burbs, where the neighbors are friendly and the wine is superb. And once you are eighty and lived your whole life, there will be no regrets, no bad blood, no strife. And if you’ve been faithful, to heaven up above, you’ll live happily ever after up there in the sun. It’s all a campaign it’s all a campaign If it looks and tastes the same, then it's all a campaign. And all we are saying, it’s all a campaign. And all we are saying: when did my ego let me down?

System at your king such a quiet thing, no noooo no then come get it back. System At Your King. Well I know she's a subtle thing, I know that. Well I recommend you go get her back. One man sitting on iiiiiisland, one man sitting on moon. One man sitting in the sun, but then again, maybe there's two. Said one man sitting on island, one man sitting off shore. Maybe if I buy a few more things, I'll never have to die in war. System at your king such a quiet thing, no noooo no then come get it back. System At Your King. Well I know she's a subtle thing, I know that. Well I recommend you go get her back. Yesterday sat in the Ocean Maybe eye sit in the sky Maybe eye stare from cloud tops And watch all the little big things just float on by I'm feeling far, far away Goodbye Oh, and please don’t mind if I come across as a little bit anxious sometimes.

Wake up, don’t know anymore things I had memorized for sure. another day. coffee insta-made, hoping to get paid, maybe I’ll get laid. Oh oh oh oh ohoh oh flightless birds x3 we strut around we can’t fly, we peck cuz’ we can’t bite we squawk cuz’ we don’t sigh, we laugh cuz’ we all die oh oh, oh oh ,oh oh, flightless birds verse well evolution fucked us over, our bodies look weird and we’re not terribly bright, take a minute listen to our plight. Natural selection: birds with attraction or strength, or speed g-g-g-g-gonna out-survive our breed well oh oh oh oh ohoh oh listen to me love, it's birds, bees and honey cuz’ me like sugar and me want money. We think we're such intelligent species I’m just thinking about my pecker and some chickadees well oh oh oh oh ohoh oh Flightless Birds we strut around we can’t fly, we peck cuz’ we can’t bite we squawk cuz’ we don’t sigh, we laugh cuz’ we all die oh oh, oh oh ,oh oh, flightless birds Songbirds: they shit on everything, fluff their feathers and look down from the world above. They’ll go out for a bite to eat, come back, and throw up on their young. ooo, with manners: quaint, and children: saints, I swear to God, I'll outrun them all. It’s the end of fall, things aren’t beautiful they’re dead you’re so cold to me As thousands of the other birds fly south for the winter you turn and take to wing

I only want what I can’t have and God- damn I want you I like it here -- in my head -- my midnight blue lagoon would you Be impressed if I could fly? Take you overnight to japan Have you home in time cuz’ I’m your Magic Marker Man There’s something going on up there In the space above my head. Humans glow, there’s color in snow and I am made of stars Big bang, who rang? Is that you, God? How long’s it been? Mr. unknown Where are my manners, Please come in in. I do say... it’s starting to snow...

Now and Then 01:19
Do you remember all those years ago. Back when, when you didn't know how to grow. Well I hate being the same as everyone else. It's partly, yeah, because I love myself, but partly because of that pain.

It’s something, and I’m gonna’ regret this. Well I can feel it like dead air in my lungs It’s something, and I can’t explain it Well I can barely describe it and I would not prescribe it It’s something aaaaaa, and I felt it like mountains growing out of my chest again out of my lungs It’s something in the daily actions it’s like we buy our own ransoms and play each other like pacman

Who am I? said the animal. I’m only an animal. I am but an animal. And where am I? and what. Is this around my neck.? chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga No one owns the world said the man so I might as well claim it as my own I need to get across this land, cuz’ I’m a wandering man. And I think there’s more to life than fight, fuck, feed. I am blind, cried the animal. It’s dark and I feel trapped inside this crate If they’re gonna’ do this to me, than I’m gonna howl and scream, and hope that someone hears me call for help. chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga What’s that sound? said the animal I’ve never heard anything that loud There’s something in that noise that says I don’t have a choice and my heart says that I need to check it out And then the train tracks blew the animal down, the animal down, the animal down the train tracks blew the animal down, the animal down, the animal down What was that? gasped the human it was only an animal, said the general We’re all animals, said 1 number 2 leveled his gun. And said listen boy, I’m gonna’ teach you a lesson In the crate, there’s a chimpanzee, there’s you, and there’s me. In 5 minutes, there’s only gonna’ be two. The human grinned and said, you’re right, it’s the animal that should be dead. He threw himself and the general out the door. And then the train tracks blew the animals down, the animals down, the animals down the train tracks blew the animals down, the animals down, the animals down train tracks blew the animal down because the freight train blew the animal down Just like the runway blew the animal down cuz’ the airplane blew the animal down. And big tanks blew the animal down And carriers blew the animal down Yeah, safe way blew the animal down And BP blew the animal down Chevrolet blew the animal down Safeway blew the animal down Bill Gates blew the animal down Everyone blew the animal down And the animals laughed as the train rolled past and chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga...

Oh, we know a couple things we know how to make plastic rings and paint them gold oh, we have resources for war but not enough to feed the poor I’m sorry son, that’s just the truth and oh, could I have some more endorphins please? Do you have aNY MORE DOPAMINE!? I’m sorry sir, we just ran out. and oh, this is a special place, our apartment for the humans we don’t want to go outside It’s a scary place, there are things we don’t understand. I know that it’s a beautiful land, but I have shaky hands and I have the fear of the unknown That’s right the fear of the unknown It’s a fear of the others, their dangerous colors, the beasts in the dark, or that thing in the water, the things that we see in our father and mother the fear of the future and things yet discovered. It’s a fear to progress and the fear to fall back, it’s the fear of another terror attack, It’s the fear of control and fear of freedom, it’s a fear that we learned from mistakes when we were young, and it’s A FEAR OF THE HOLOCAUST, FEAR OF WORLD WAR, IT’S A FEAR THAT THERE ISN’T A GOD ANYMORE. BUT THERE’S MORE TO THE SHAME CUZ’ WE HAVE TO BLAME HUMANITY’S PROBLEM ON SOME POOR DEVIL’S NAME OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Mr. Unknown And oh, it’s in our telescopes, it’s on the ocean floor all the things we just don’t know oh, it’s just the human hope, we see it in a child’s soul real potential and we mold it, yeah we try to control it and much too often we scold it why don’t we just let it grow? Cuz’ it’s the fear of the unknown oh yes the fear of the unknown Oh, and thank you very much, it's all on you Thanks for taking my burden and please treat her well Mr. Unknown
