I never thought I'd be waking up at 2 a.m. to grab your sweater;

and this daily hate mail job makes me want to throw up now
I guess I'm sick of having to discuss the weather.

I'm still not sure how much of me is me and how much is society

Not too many cars pulled over on the side of the road as the sunsets.
I guess they forget how much time they spend searching for smaller golds like cold love.

At night once the looming blue light decides to give way to darker skies
the mountains shred the sky like a piece of paper and there's only ebony behind it.

Post-high school maze. Hazin' in the after-day.
Why does it take so long to be a good person?
